The Great Ocean Road

I of course couldn't miss driving on one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world, so with a few other people I rented a campervan and we drove from Melbourne to Adelaide in about 4 days.

The famous 12 apostles, although there aren't actually 12. Until 2005 there were 9, one collapsed and now there's just 8 left. Ome day all of them will have disappeared.

The beautiful Loch Ard gorge

The London Arch. Funny story: This used to be called London bridge because the rock island was actually connected to the mainland by a 'bridge' of rock. In 1990 it collapsed and caught two visitors on the newly formed island. They had to be rescued by helicopter and the story was all over the news. Turns out the visitors were a man and his mistress and due to the media, his wife now knew about the affair as well. 

Hard to see, but this is lake is actually pink due to some minerals in it.

Before arriving in Adelaide we stopped at the historical German town of Hahndorf

Adelaide was my last stop before leaving Australia. So sad about that, I had the best time in Oz! Off to Bali and new adventures.
